My Story

Darnishous Thompson is the Founder and CEO of DOLLed Up By Darnishous. Darnishous has always had a passion for fashion and accessories since she was young. It started with making fashionable jewelry pieces for herself and then by request, making custom pieces for others, from there it grew into a flourishing business. Darnishous Thompson has been creating and designing jewelry and accessories for over 15 years. In 2015, Darnishous decided to officially launch her own company called DOLLed Up By Darnishous, LLC. Dolled Up By Darnishous creates and sells a wide selection of affordable, handcrafted, customized jewelry and accessories for men and women that you will not find in local stores. Our bold designs empower our customers to "Access Your Rise". For MEN, we offer a wide array of jewelry that includes custom cufflinks, bracelets, rings and unique statement watches. For WOMEN, we have a wide selection of watches and customized pieces including earrings, bracelets, rings and statement necklaces. In 2019, Darnishous launched a new product line and event called “Mirrored Reflection of You” in which women can connect and network with one another to create their own handheld, personalized “Mirrored Reflections of You” bling mirrors that inspires and motivates with a touch of bling. The mirrors reflect words of affirmation with beautiful rhinestones, pieces of jewelry and lots of bling. As a creative, Darnishous loves to design while motivating and encouraging local creatives. In 2018, she was blessed with a vision for a collaborative Fashion and Trunk show called “ACCESS YOUR RISE. “ACCESS YOUR RISE” is an annual event in which local creatives have the opportunity to highlight and showcase their creations on the runaway using local models.
